PhotoSpace Privacy Policy

PhotoSpace – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

PhotoSpace is made by György Jankovics (“we”), publisher of The Space App Suite.

What the app accesses

PhotoSpace reads your Apple Photos library on your Mac, iPhone or iPad, with your permission, to find duplicates, large videos and other items that take up space.

When you ask it to, it moves items to Recently Deleted in Photos and adds compressed copies of videos to your library and to the album “Shrunk by PhotoSpace”. It never empties Recently Deleted.

What we collect

Nothing. PhotoSpace has no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Your files and the results of the scan never leave your device. The results are stored only on your device, in the app’s own storage, and are removed when you delete the app.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details.

iCloud

If you use iCloud Photos, changes you make with PhotoSpace (deletions, new compressed copies) are synced by Apple to your other devices, as with any change made in Photos.

Children

PhotoSpace does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
